Mōrena from a cold and clear Whakapapa.

Overnight, our snowmaking team has enjoyed an excellent run of cold, dry conditions. The snow guns have been firing all night and it is a very welcome sight!

It's shaping up to be a beautiful day to visit Whakapapa.

The Sky Waka Gondola and Snowland will open from *10:00am *. Lorenz's Bar and Café and Retail will be open from *9:30am *, ready to welcome you with breakfast, coffee, and all your mountain essentials.

A quick heads-up for anyone heading to Knoll Ridge Chalet today: *Pātaka * remains closed while we complete our winter renovations. The chalet will still be serving coffee, refreshments, and a selection of cabinet food throughout the day. If you're after a more substantial meal, we recommend stopping by Lorenz's Bar and Café before heading up the gondola.
