Good morning. It's Monday at Whakapapa and it looks like we are in for another fine one.

Sightseeing on the Sky Waka Gondola will open from 9am. With fine and clear weather forecasted, its sure to be a great day to take in the views of the Tongariro National Park. When you make it to the top, coffee and food will be available at the Knoll Ridge Chalet from 9am.

We had a good night of snowmaking and provided a freshen up of Happy Valley. Skiing and riding will open from 9am. Lessons have been very popular today and we expect plenty of people to be having fun in Happy Valley. We recommend booking online and planning your visit ahead to guarantee your ski and ride fun. Happy Valley will open from 9am with rentals available from 8am.

It's terrific to see so many people enjoying skiing and riding in Happy Valley. With the current amount of terrain available, we want to ensure maximum fun and safety for everyone, therefore we have made the decision to stop the sale of ski and ride passes in Happy Valley. We will continue to monitor the capacity and if we feel we are able to resume ticket sales, we will keep you informed here on the live feed. We appreciate your understanding!
