The mist has cleared and we're now enjoying clear skies from the base area right up the maunga! The forecast is for conditions to remain fine and settled, setting us up for an amazing Saturday at Whakapapa.

Expect classic spring snow conditions today, firm up high to start, before softening nicely, with softer conditions down low.

​Base area facilities open from 8am, with lift facilities scheduled to open from 9am.

We're expecting a slight delay on the Far West T while we complete de-icing, and give the surface conditions a little time to become friendlier. We'll have an updated opening time at 8.30am.
