Make sure you have suitable transport and are prepared for alpine driving conditions.
Print and complete your
Rental Group Forms
before you arrive.
Ensure everyone has the equipment they need for their activities.
Dress for the mountain with warm layers, waterproof outerwear, suitable footwear and sunglasses or goggles.
Apply sunscreen before you arrive. UV levels are high year-round on the maunga.
Email schoolgroups@whakapapa.com with your group contact details before your visit. If anything changes on the day, let the Snow School Office know who the Group Leader and supervising adults are.
Plan your arrival time:
• 90 minutes before lesson packages
• 30 minutes before Snowland bookings
• Any time for Sky Waka sightseeing
Use the designated drop-off area at the top of Bruce Road on the left-hand side. Once students have been dropped off, please use the designated car parks.
