A school trip to Whakapapa gets students outdoors and onto the maunga for a unique experience they'll remember.

From ski and snowboard lesson packages to sledding and tubing in Snowland, and sightseeing on the Sky Waka gondola, there's something for every group. We welcome school bookings year-round with experiences available across both Winter and Summer.

DESIGNED FOR SCHOOLS, SUPPORTED BY EXPERIENCED INSTRUCTORS.

Our school programmes give students the chance to develop new skills in a safe and encouraging environment. Whether you're introducing students to snow for the first time or building on previous visits, we'll help make the day run smoothly from arrival to the last run.

School bookings are available for groups of 10 or more students on weekdays outside NZ school holidays. Helmets are included with all ski and snowboard lessons.

Group Bookings

Group Bookings

IDEAL FOR CLUBS, WORKPLACES, FRIENDS AND WHĀNAU.

Getting everyone on the maunga is even better with a group booking. Groups of 15 or more receive 10% off Single All Mountain Day Passes and Single-Day Rental Equipment Hire when purchased together in one transaction.

Your discount is automatically applied at checkout when 15 or more of the same eligible product are booked at the same time. It can't be added after your booking is complete. Email schoolgroups@whakapapa.com and we'll help you organise the rest.
