Snowland brings together snowplay, tubing and sledding in a purpose-built snow zone in Happy Valley. Slide into some fun or enjoy time together in the snow.

Make a day of it with a Snowland + Sky Waka Combo. Enjoy all the ways to play in Snowland and a gondola ride to 2,020 m for spectacular views up here on Mt Ruapehu.

Tubing

Hop into a tube and glide your way down. No technique needed, just hold on and enjoy!

Sledding

Grab a sled, head up and take off downhill. It’s simple, quick to get into and easy to go again.

Snowplay

Build snowmen and dive into playful snowball fights in this dedicated snowplay area.

How it all works down in Snowland.

Sessions run in one-hour time slots, so it’s best to book ahead online to secure your preferred time. Once booked, head straight to Happy Valley with your confirmation email and arrive a little early to be ready for your session.
