Snowland arrives in Happy Valley for Winter 2026, bringing together snowplay, tubing and sledding in a purpose-built snow zone. Combo a Snowland ticket with a ride up the Sky Waka gondola for views from 2,020m and experience the complete winter magic up here on Mt Ruapehu.

Sessions run in one-hour time slots, so it’s best to book ahead online to secure your preferred time. Once booked, head straight to Happy Valley with your confirmation email and arrive a little early to be ready for your session.

  • Sessions start every half hour
  • Open daily from 9am to 4pm
  • Located down in Happy Valley
  • Tubes and sleds are included with your ticket
  • Tubing is for ages 8yrs+, subject to conditions
