Nature of Instalment Arrangements
WHL may offer customers the ability to pay for certain products (such as season passes) by instalments.
Typically, this involves:
- An initial payment at the time of purchase; and
- One or more future payments, charged automatically using the payment method provided at purchase.
The specific structure (including payment timing and amounts) will be clearly disclosed at the time you enter into the arrangement.
Some instalment arrangements offered by WHL may not constitute consumer credit contracts where no interest or credit fees are charged.
Interest
WHL instalment arrangements are generally offered on an interest-free basis, meaning no interest is charged on the outstanding balance.
Fees and Charges
WHL may charge a card payment surcharge (currently 1.75%) on payments made by credit or debit card. This surcharge is a payment process fee that applies to card transactions and is not a fee for providing instalment arrangements. The applicable surcharge will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
WHL does not typically charge any other fees for offering instalment payments.
However, the following may apply in certain circumstances:
- Default or failed payment fees where a scheduled payment cannot be processed
- Recovery or administration costs where amounts remain unpaid
Any such fees will be disclosed at the time of purchase and will be limited to reasonable costs incurred.
Payments
By entering into an instalment arrangement, you authorise WHL to charge future payments to the payment method provided at the time of purchase.
It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available on the scheduled payment date.
Consequences of Missed Payments
If a scheduled payment is not made:
- WHL may attempt to reprocess the payment
- Additional fees may apply (where disclosed)
- Access to the product (e.g. season pass) may be suspended or cancelled with no refund owed back to the customer
- WHL may take steps to recover any outstanding amounts
Right to Cancel
Where an instalment arrangement constitutes a consumer credit contract under the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003, you may have the right to cancel within a specified period after entering into the contract.
Details of any applicable cancellation rights will be provided at the time of purchase.
Early Repayment
You may choose to pay any outstanding balance in full at any time, unless otherwise stated in your specific agreement.
