An inclusive and empowering experience for all.
The Whakapapa Adaptive Festival is a three-day celebration of inclusive snowsports on the maunga, giving people of all abilities the chance to ski, ride and enjoy the alpine environment in a welcoming and supportive setting.
Hosted by our Adaptive team, the festival brings together athletes, first-timers, whānau and supporters for three days of connection, fun and shared experiences. With guided sessions, adaptive equipment and plenty of opportunities to get involved, it's all about making snow sports more accessible and celebrating the joy of being on the mountain together.
Become an adaptive volunteer.
The Adaptive Festival is made possible by an incredible team of volunteers. We'd love you to be part of it.
Our volunteers support guests on and off snow, helping more people experience the freedom and fun of being on the mountain. Working alongside trained instructors, you'll join a welcoming team and contribute to what makes this festival so special.
No previous adaptive experience is required. We'll provide the training and support you need. As a volunteer, you'll receive a free day pass for every day you volunteer. If you already have a season pass, you can earn up to a full refund through volunteering.
