Good morning, it's Sunday at Whakapapa and it's shaping up to be a beautiful one.

With sunshine forecasted for the day, today is a great day to grab some early turns, take a lesson, go for some sledding fun and enjoy a delicious lunch. Happy Valley opens from 9am this morning with coffee from 8:30am.

Fine weather and sunshine means stunning views. The Sky Waka Gondola is open from 9am. Our snow play area at the top of the gondola is an awesome place to play in the snow and get amazing photos. Make sure you enjoy lunch at the Knoll Ridge Chalet at the top of the gondola.

With school holidays in full swing, we expect to be busy in Happy Valley. We recommend you book online before arriving to ensure your ski and ride fun.

There is plenty to do here at Whakapapa and we can't wait to welcome you!
