First Timer - $55 per person

A first timer lesson will get you on your feet, controlling your speed and stopping - all the important things you need to be able to do to be safe and have fun on the slopes. Children's group lessons are the same price as adults but are taught separately.

At Whakapapa

• First-timer lessons are held in Happy Valley
• Meet at the Snow School meeting area flags in Happy Valley 
• Lessons go every half hour from 9.30am - 2pm

At Turoa

• First-timer lessons are held in the Alpine Meadow
• Meet at the Snow School flags in the Alpine Meadow
• You will be booked in for a specific time when you purchase your lesson ticket. No pre-bookings are necessary - just purchase your lesson ticket when you arrive for the day.

Advanced Beginner / Lower Intermediate - $55 per person

Lessons depart from the Snow School Meeting area on Hut Flat at Whakapapa or the Wintergarden at Turoa at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. No bookings are necessary - just purchase your lesson ticket when you arrive for the day. Children's group lessons are the same price as adults but are taught separately.

Intermediate / Advanced  - $55 per person

These lessons should not exceed 6 per group, allowing excellent quality of instruction. They are available for children or adults and children are taught separately. Lessons depart daily from the Wintergarden meeting area at Turoa at 10am and 1.30pm or from the Knoll Ridge Snow School Meeting Area at Whakapapa at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. These lessons can be pre-booked through the Snow School Office. (levels 4-6)
