INFORMATION
Very warm temperatures and some heavy rainfall means that unfortunately there will be no summer skiing at Whakapapa this year. Daily grooming work has been in progress in an effort to keep snow on the Valley T-Bar lift line and main trails but the summer melting was just too much.

MOUNTAIN PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Whakapapa opens its summer season this Saturday 20 December with sightseeing chairlift rides, rock climbing and guided walks to Mt Ruapehu's crater lake. There'll also be a great snow sliding park with toboggans for hire from Knoll Ridge Chalet.
