The world famous (in New Zealand) Peak to Powderkeg is taking place October 11th this year so put it in your diary! This is a
super fun event that involves competitors Skiing/Boarding from the top of the High Noon Express to the base area. Then it’s time to ditch the boots for running shoes as the race continues on foot to the 12.5km point on the Mountain Rd. The final stage is a mad dash cycle to the Powderkeg where the most challenging aspect of the race needs to be completed… the beer skull!! You’d be mad to miss it!  The Peak to PowderKeg is proudly supported by Mt Ruapehu, The Powderhorn and The SnowCentre
